Build Your Temple.
It Begins Here.
A vessel worthy of the water.
Our spring has long been regarded as a sacred site for healing and ceremony, and today, that legacy continues with every bottle of Temple. We bottle exclusively in glass to protect the integrity of the water and ensure it remains free from microplastics and contamination. Unlike many bottled waters that are filtered, stripped, or chemically treated, we preserve the water exactly as it flows from the spring, untouched, unaltered, and uncompromised. It is all about what we don’t remove.
What makes this spring truly rare is its exceptionally high mineral content and its naturally alkaline pH of 7.7 at the source. Rich in calcium, magnesium, sodium, and potassium, it still offers a remarkably smooth and balanced taste that you have to try to believe. These minerals do more than enhance flavor. Calcium supports strong bones and cellular function. Magnesium aids in muscle performance and energy production. Sodium and potassium work together to regulate hydration, nerve signaling, and fluid balance.
This is water in its purest, most elemental form. Naturally alkaline, trusted through history, and bottled just as nature intended.
Pocahontas Spring has long been cherished as a place of purity, healing, and deep historical significance in Massachusetts. The Smith family’s connection to the spring dates back to 1640, when King Charles I granted the land, including the spring, to their ancestors. Early English settlers named it Pocahontas Spring to honor the legacy of the Native American figure and to evoke the spiritual and healing symbolism she represented. Over time, the spring became recognized not only for its purity but also for its restorative qualities, drawing generations to its waters for healing and ceremonial purposes. A significant chapter came in 1901, when Joseph Franklin Smith, at just 21 years old, founded the Pocahontas Spring Water company, offering naturally sourced spring water long before bottled water became mainstream. The spring even witnessed figures tied to the Salem Witch Trials and was once said to have boiled under the accusation of witchcraft.
Today, we are honored to be stewards of this historic spring and carry its legacy forward with great care and intention. We believe this land, long respected for its healing waters, deserves to be protected and preserved for generations to come. At the heart of our mission is a simple but powerful belief: your body is a temple, and how you nourish it, both in mind and body, matters deeply. That is why we are beyond excited to share this exceptional mineral water with you, just as nature created it, from a source with centuries of reverence and purpose behind every drop.
Centuries ago, the water began to flow. Today, it continues with purpose.
